Cabinet Refinishing: Olympic Mountains and Ashwood Moss Majesty

When certain cabinet refinishing projects are approaching their point of completion, you just know the colors and the refinishing work itself has come together to create something that going to be extra ravishing to behold. This was not one of those projects. Why, you ask? Because we knew before we even began removing even one door or drawer, this combination of Olympic Mountains (971) for the wall cabinets and Ashwood Moss (1484) for the island would work with the existing countertops and other design elements to make something absolutely majestic. Or as our interior designer succinctly stated, "It's going to be badass."

You know the drill by now. Peruse the before and after album below, and then give Benny B's Painting LLC a call to get your free consultation and estimate on the schedule, so you, too, can make that Kitchen Goals vision board a beautiful reality. 443.897.7541

Spreading Christmas Cheer with Easter Lily and Cotton Balls

It's all so lovely to look at. We love this time of year and seeing our clients' homes newly decorated as well as all decked out for the holidays. The colors used throughout most of this main level makeover of a fashionable residence in the Bel Air community of Wellington Woods are Easter Lily (2150-70) for ceilings and walls and Cotton Balls (OC-122) for the trim. And although it's Christmas time, its wonderful to see spring-like off-whites trending instead of grays, which, let's be honest, can look a bit dreary in this season of winter and quarantines.

We'll have much more of this main level design project in upcoming blogs, but for now, enjoy the holiday look in the living room below.

Correcting Cabinets with Steam and Some Elbow Grease from Benny B

The before photos of these cabinets are Exhibit A when it comes to demonstrating why it is so important to hire a cabinet refinishing specialist to transform your wood cabinetry. When we arrived to assess this set, we found a chalk painted disaster that had not even been primed and, not surprisingly, a finish that had more orange peeling than a grove in Florida!

Luckily, our client put her trust in Benny B to correct the  myriad of mistakes that were originally made with the cabinetry and also bring a clean and sophisticated look to a very unflattering backsplash pattern.

It took quite a bit of elbow grease from Benny; but at the end of the project, the late afternoon sun streamed in on pure radiance with cabinets corrected and refinished in Steam (AF-15) and a backsplash remade in Muslin (1037).  Looking at them now, it's hard to believe that they were in such dismal condition, but Benny B's Painting made their glow up a stylish and elegant reality.
