Beat the Heat with Sea Star and Mediterranean Teal

Talk about beating the heat! These beautiful blues are the perfect remedy when you are looking for a cool, elegant room with a kick of nontraditional color. But first, we had to perform some heavy duty wall repairs. The result? A perfectly prepped satiny surface that took Sea Star (2123-30) wall color and Mediterranean Teal (2123-10) trim as smoothly as a calm sea. And don't get us started on that accent wallpaper. Our interior designer chose the design (along with those amazing paint colors!) as a perfect textured alternative to a dated faux finish.

A Vintage Kitchen Is Rejuvenated with Decorator's White and a Serving of Chocolate Mousse

This 48-year-old kitchen was the smallest makeover we've ever taken on, but the visual beauty of the entire renovation is absolutely enormous! Interior designer extraordinaire, Adrianne Kotula of WPS Paint & Decorating Center, made sure every detail of this update (the countertops, the contours of the new sink, the new flooring and of course, the cabinet and wall colors) exuded every bit of the femininity and old-fashioned charm envisioned for a new kitchen by this home's lovely owner.
